As much as we love drinking our Moonshine, did you know that it also works incredibly well in recipes? This year for pancake day we made some delicious pancakes with stewed apples and O’Donnell Moonshine Sticky Toffee Syrup. And it couldn’t be any easier to make!
All you need to make this amazing syrup is:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 ⅓ cups of white sugar
- ⅔ cups of brown sugar
- 1.5 tbsp Sticky Toffee Moonshine
- Add all ingredients to a saucepan and whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Bring to a simmer
- Reduce to a medium heat and cook the syrup for 45-50 minutes until it has thickened up
