Pomegranate Mimosa, Moonshine Sunrise and More: How to Drink O'Donnell Moonshine Pomegranate!

The newest flavour and second community flavour by O'Donnell Moonshine, Pomegranate, hit shelves earlier this week. A delicate blend of rich fruity flavour with a zesty twist, our latest addition to the O'Donnell range throws a flavour often sidelined as an extra and throws it straight into the spotlight. 

We can't wait to hear what you all make of our Pomegranate Moonshine. While we would always recommend drinking our spirits neat over ice, to full appreciate their flavour profiles and complexities, there are so many ways to enjoy O'Donnell Pomegranate Moonshine, we thought we'd share some of our favourites with you here!

Simple Serves 

With it's rich, full flavour and balance of sweet and tangy notes, you don't need fancy cocktails or intricate glassware to get the most out of O'Donnell Pomegranate, find our top tips for simple and simply delicious Pomegranate serves below.

  1. Pomegranate Spritz

Ingredients

Method

Add a generous measure of Pomegranate (circa 60ml) to the glass of your choice. Top with prosecco and garnish with a slice of orange and fresh pomegranate arils. 

  1. Pomegranate Fizz 

 

Ingredients

  • 45ml O'Donnell Pomegranate
  • 15ml Lemon Juice
  • Soda (to top)
  • Rosemary and Fresh Orange (optional to garnish)

Method

Add 45 ml Pomegranate and 15ml lemon juice to a shaker with ice. Shake until the outsides of the shaker are cool to the touch. Pour mixture into a glass and top with soda to taste. Garnish with a slice of lemon and sprig of rosemary.

Pomegranate Tequila Sunrise

Ingredients

Method:

Chill the glass in the freezer for 1 -2 hours prior to preparation. Pour in tequila and orange juice, then gently pour over the Pomegranate. 

Garnish: Dry citrus or fresh orange zest
Glass: long-drink

Pomegranate Intercontinental 

Ingredients

Method:

Stir all ingredients in mixing glass with ice, and strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish: lemon zest
Glass: coup

Pomegranate (Red) Mimosa 

Ingredients

Method:

Pour all ingredients in a champagne flute, add champagne last on top.
Garnish: neat, or drop a berry in the glass, or orange zest on the rim
Glass: champagne flute

Pomegranate Gimlet

Ingredients

Method:

Stir all ingredients in mixing glass with ice, pour, and strain into a coupet glass.

Garnish: orange zest/pomegranate parts
Glass: coupet
