Feeling Fresh Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1 lime
  • Ginger
  • Soda Water (150ml)
  • Ginger beer (150ml)
  • Fresh mint
  • Cucumber
  • 1 Tsp Granulated Sugar/Simple Syrup (optional, to taste)


Method:

  1. Add fresh mint leaves (approx ½ dozen), the juice of half a lime, finely grated ginger and grated cucumber to a bowl and muddle carefully.
  2. Strain the mixture into a glass (you can use a spoon to press lightly on the back of the strainer to ensure you get the maximum juice out of the ingredients.)
  3. Add ice and top up your glass with half soda water, half ginger beer.
  4. Garnish either with lime wheels, or fresh cucumber, and fresh mint leaves.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

If you’re looking for a slightly damper January option…

Add 50ml High Proof Moonshine in place of some of the soda water.
