Feeling Fresh Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1 lime
  • 10g Fresh Ginger
  • 150ml Soda Water
  • 150ml Ginger Beer
  • 6 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 6 Cucumber Slices
  • 1 Tsp Granulated Sugar or Simple Syrup (optional, to taste)

Equipment:

  • Knife
  • Bowl
  • Spoon

Recipe:

  1. Finely slice the ginger and cucumber, then add to a bowl along with the fresh mint leaves and juice of half a lime. Muddle carefully.
  2. Strain the mixture into a glass (you can use a spoon to press lightly on the back of the strainer to ensure you get the maximum juice out of the ingredients.)
  3. Add ice and top up your glass with half soda water, half ginger beer.
  4. Garnish either with lime wheels, or fresh cucumber and fresh mint leaves.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

If you’re looking for a slightly damper January option…

Add 50ml High Proof Moonshine in place of some of the soda water.
